A Definition of Psychology: Many texts define psychology as the "science of mental processes and
behaviour." However, 'Psychology' is difficult to define because the word "mental" suggests there are
no boundaries or limits. "Psyche", in "Psychology," also suggests breath, life, soul or mind -- all of
which are without limit.

Probably the single largest subfield in psychology, the clinical area studies and attempts to treat
people who suffer from subjective distress as well as the milder problems of modern life. This
subfield is my area of expertise.

Definition of Psychology in general:
Clinical Psychology:
- Counseling sessions are by appointment only. Hours are available Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday, 9am to 9pm.
- Payment for each session is made at the time of session unless otherwise arranged.
- 24 hour notice for cancellations is required. In case of emergency of inclement weather,
notice is still required.
- Everything is confidential. The only time I may break trust is when I have your explicit
permission; when your life or another life is in danger; when a child is being physically or
sexually abused; or when a court orders me to do so.
